Your slide deck will be evaluated based on the following criteria. The ratings will be Insufficient, Adequate, Good, Outstanding.

- Clarity and Effectiveness in Design (20): Design your slides with a clean, modern aesthetic. The layout should facilitate an easy understanding of key points, using white space effectively and avoiding clutter.
- Effective Use of Text and Images (20): Use text and images strategically. Text should be minimal yet impactful, and images must be relevant and high-quality, complementing your spoken content and enhancing audience understanding.
- Reflects Academic Professionalism (15): Your slides should maintain an academic tone, mirroring the professionalism of your presentation. The design and content should be suitable for an academic setting, showcasing both rigor and accessibility.
- Engages and Communicates Visually (15): Aim for slides that engage your audience and communicate your points visually. This involves balancing informative content with visual appeal to keep your audience’s attention focused and enhance their comprehension.
